Sector: Estancia Laguna Sofía

Estancia Laguna Sofía has approximately 6,000 hectares, is located on the shores of lake of the same name, fully navigable and ideal for fishing. Its surroundings are perfect for activities such as accessible natural amphitheater: hiking, horseback riding, mountainbike, kayak, visit archaeological sites, bird watching, flora, fauna, among others.

The Estancia also devoted to livestock, is located 30 kilometers from Puerto Natales, between Cerro Benítez (Milodon Cave) and Sierra Señoret. We have a privileged view of Cordillera Prat, Balmaceda Glacier and Cerro Tenerife among others, and from the highest points of the Estancia you can see the Última Esperanza Fjord and the Massif Paine Grande.

Our tours are characterized by visit different ecosystems in the area. Forest, prairie, mountains and lagoon are some of the scenarios that you will appreciate. You’ll notice a wide variety of birds, from the majestic condors to small sparrows, plus the various species that inhabit the sector.

We develop rides with the best mounts, complete equipment and the best care for our horses, which are a mixture of criollo horse with Arab horse, ideal for exploring this area.

Getting there You take the road to Villa Castillo last 26 Km from Puerto Natales, a sign indicating detour to Laguna Sofia 7 Km gravel – Puerto Natales – Patagonia Chile.
